Dr. Chris M. Salmon, DMD

Dr. Salmon grew up in West Virginia and moved to Mobile to attend college and play soccer at The University of South Alabama. He graduated from The University of South Alabama with Bachelor degree in Chemistry and Mathematics. After college, he worked at a manufacturing facility as a Chemist. He also taught Chemistry and was the Soccer coach at McGill-Toolen Catholic School in Mobile.

Dr. Salmon wanted to further his education at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where he found his true passion. After a brief period of working for other offices, he purchased Dr. Mims practice in Sylacauga and achieved his dream of owning his own practice in 2008.

One of his favorite sayings, “When you stop learning, you stop growing”, a mantra he truly lives by. Dr. Salmon is always taking courses to perfect his craft and achieve the best dental work possible.

Dr. Salmon is married to his wife, Brooke, and together they have 6 children.

When he is not working, he enjoys watching his kids’ activities, swimming, playing soccer, disc golf and fishing.
